Summer Starfish

This summer I received one of the best text messages possible. Madison Allen long time art student and now friend, asked me to look at the starfish painting she was working on. It was a wow and proud moment for me as an art instructor. 

Sitting in her room at her easel she had taken her ten years of art lessons and understanding of painting, color and design to express herself and create something really beautiful. 

Now a junior in college, it's a blessing to see Madison confidently apply paint to canvas to make our world a more beautiful place.
